This is my second time renting from this company. The first time was in Toronto, where they had a service counter at the airport, making both pickup and drop-off very easy. This time, I upgraded the vehicle at the counter to an SUV, which came with a very useful GPS.

If you choose a budget car, they will aggressively try to upsell you. It's best to treat them like persistent salespeople and not like regular Canadians; otherwise, you'll regret it.

The Alamo in Calgary is very good. When I arrived it was already early morning, but the only staff member was still very friendly and didn't try to upsell anything. This time I finally rented a Grand Cherokee and wasn't switched to any other model. The car had only 4000 km on it, almost new. It accompanied me through snow mountains and grasslands on my trips to Banff, Jasper, and Canmore. Perfect.

The downgrade of the vehicle was not promptly communicated, resulting in a very poor user experience.

Professional, and you can easily pick up the car with a local driver's license. Very convenient.
