However, be cautious as they may claim that the car you originally booked is unavailable and try to upsell you to a more expensive, luxurious model, along with unnecessary insurance and equipment. The additional insurance and equipment they offer are quite pricey. In my opinion, roads in Europe are generally good, and drivers tend to follow the rules; if you have good driving skills and are cautious, the basic insurance is usually sufficient. Dare to say 'no' to their 'enthusiasm'.

The drive was smooth, completed paperwork at the counter, picked up the car at the parking lot, and there were staff available to answer questions about the car.

Hertz is quite popular, so the line was a bit slow. They gave us the same model we reserved, and the service was very attentive.
