The store is very small, and you have to wait in line. The vehicle's condition is relatively good, but there are quite a few scratches. Since I had full insurance, the staff told me not to worry about it when I left because they didn't care how many scratches it had when I returned. However, I remind everyone that if you don't have full insurance, you should check carefully.

The queue time was a bit long, and there were insurance sales pitches, but the vehicle was in great condition. The gas station was very close to the rental office, and returning the car was very quick. You can leave right after dropping off the car.

Complaint about the Chinese female clerk at Melbourne Airport branch on December 26th around 6-7 pm! The child seat was clearly reserved through the Car Rental platform, but upon arrival at the store, they said it wasn't reserved. It was already past 7 pm, and we had to drive out to buy one. Additionally, she did not inform me to inspect the car condition beforehand, nor did she allow me to check it myself before signing the rental agreement. As a result, I signed the order without seeing the car, and did not notice the pre-existing scratch on the right side of the car's front. Because we were in a hurry to buy a safety seat, there was no time to take photos of the car, which caused the store to blame me for the scratch on the left side of the car when returning it. Moreover, due to the New Year’s Eve event on December 31st, I called in the morning to say I would return the car in the evening, but I wasn't informed about the road closures. This led to a futile trip to return the car, and I had to pay an extra day's rental to return it the next day. Extremely dissatisfied with Hertz's overall service attitude!

The process of picking up and returning the car was very smooth. The car was in good condition with over 20,000 kilometers on it, and it handled well. Unfortunately, the GPS rented from Hertz had a faulty power connection, causing it to repeatedly lose power unless the angle was constantly adjusted. Later, in Bairnsdale, although there was no GPS available, they helped confirm it was defective and suggested seeking help in Canberra. They also kindly printed out four pages of color Google Maps directions, which was very heartwarming.

There was a long queue around 10 AM at the airport location. After confirming car availability via walkie-talkie, we had to wait another ten minutes.
