The reserved car was not available, so we had to take a downgraded one with a huge price difference! Offering a tank of gas doesn't make up for it! Absolutely disgusting!

Very bad experience. When returning the car at Melbourne Airport, we were in a hurry to catch a flight and were unfamiliar with how to get into the Europcar garage. We went to the Europcar return office to ask for directions, but the staff ignored us and refused to help. They seemed to take pleasure in our distress, knowing we were about to miss our flight. They refused to give us directions to the parking spot nearby and insisted we drive to the designated location. Luckily, we found other helpful people at the airport; otherwise, we would've missed our flight. Due to the rush, my friend's mom twisted her ankle while moving luggage, which caused significant discomfort during our trip. We are extremely dissatisfied with the staff's indifferent and gloating attitude.

Paying for additional driver was not expected
