Customer service was very poor on collection. Car availability was very poor so was made to wait instead of being provided with a free available upgrade.

I was upgraded to a medium-sized car because the car I'd booked needed extra cleaning. They were great about explaining the car's controls and how to return the car out of hours. No pressure to pay for extra insurance or anything like that either.

After a long haul overnight flight I was horrified to find almost 20 people in front of me waiting to collect a car. The process took almost 1.5 hours. The staff were polite but there were just 3 people working and a wait of this length was extremely frustrating and totally unacceptable. Poor show and very unprofessional for an international company.

I am trying to process a complaint with Europcar due to being sold excessively expensive insurance and roadside assist that we didn't ask for.

Like: Easy to book - staff were very friendly Car was smart and clean and easy to drive
Dislike: Everything was brilliant!
