Pretty good

We picked up the car at San Francisco Airport. They tried to upsell us on a vehicle upgrade but failed, and then kept pushing insurance. I blame myself for not explaining things clearly to my husband, which caused him to be harassed by the Avis clerk for a long time. They even got a Chinese-speaking employee to push the insurance. I finally managed to get away by firmly refusing all insurance options.

I waited in line for twenty minutes. At the counter, I wasn't informed about the extra insurance they added. Later, I noticed unexpected charges and realized they had added all the extra insurances without telling me. The staff at Avis never mentioned it to me.

Very simple process

Well, overall I'm satisfied, but they persuaded me to buy an extra $200 worth of insurance. The one I originally booked on the website was only around $500, but I ended up paying an additional $300. I should have researched this more beforehand.
