They pushed a certain insurance during the sales process, which we only realized when settling the bill. After some coordination with the car rental service, part of the insurance fee was refunded.
I booked a Grand Cherokee or a similar large SUV, but ended up with a relatively new Nissan X-Trail. The Alamo staff didn't allow us to use the parked cars because they were considered a different class. Haha... Anyway, the X-Trail I got was quite new and in good condition, but it felt underpowered in the US.
Alamo is excellent. They have no mileage limits and no restrictions on where you can drive within the US. The service is also very good. Highly recommended!
The queue was organized despite the large crowd, and the hall was spacious.
