The kind of thorough checks they do while dropping the vehicle, it is not done that way while handing over the vehicle. This annoying me bit. Other suggestion.. They should provide the toll top up card for easy top up. Unnecessarily, I had to buy a new card. Otherwise it is fine.
Considering the issues with vehicle inspection and voice guidance, I arrived early at the pick-up store, but it was closed. I reported this to the rental car service, and they said they would contact the car rental company and get back to me. Eventually, they said they couldn’t reach the company and asked me to wait nearby. I waited until around 3:50 PM (pickup was scheduled for 4 PM), but no one showed up. It was too hot, and my child couldn’t wait any longer, so we returned to the hotel, which was fortunately nearby. At the hotel, the rental car service contacted me again, insisting I go back to the store to avoid missing the opening time. I found it odd since they should be prepared in advance for my booking. After settling my child, I returned to the store, and this time it was open. However, I was told there were no cars available and I had to wait until 6 PM. They also showed me records of attempts to contact my domestic phone number, which was puzzling since I was in Malaysia. Suddenly, a car became available, so I signed the paperwork and went for the vehicle inspection. The staff only checked the exterior, noted some damage points, recorded the mileage and fuel level, and left while I was taking photos and videos. I had to figure out how to open the trunk and refuel by calling them later. By the time I left, it was already past 5 PM, but the recorded pickup time was still 4 PM. The car's performance was also poor; the steering was shaky. When returning the car, they mentioned it was dirty inside. I suspected they might charge me a cleaning fee, but I explained that the sand in the car wasn’t from me as I hadn’t been to the beach. They accepted my explanation, and the return was processed normally.

I waited quite some time on pickup counter as counter personnel is not yet there yet. It is understandable because it is 1st day of Chinese New Year.
Car is in good condition, however I dont really like this model of Proton Saga with CVT transmission as it feels very rough specially in stop and go traffic and uphill situations. Not the renters fault or anything, its actually the car's behavior.

The office in downtown Kuala Lumpur is kinda tricky to locate. It's just a small desk at the lift lobby. The number provided took many attempts to get through. But the good rates offset the hassle.
