It seemed a bigger, better car than I expected.
Excellent value, especially as it was a one-way rental.
The pick up agent didn't try to upsell me on anything, which was refreshingly unusual.
I prepaid the full amount when I booked through Zuzuche, but when I arrived at the store, the staff said I hadn't paid. The money was taken by Zuzuche but not given to the car rental company! Using the lack of prepayment as an excuse, they refused to give me the car I originally reserved and downgraded it to an Audi A5. I couldn't reach Zuzuche for help. After arguing at the store for 2 hours, the staff reluctantly gave us a Mercedes E-Class (which should have similar space as an Audi A6). It wasted a lot of our time and ruined our mood.
Overall, it was okay, but two things were annoying:
1. London has a congestion charge, but this wasn’t clearly explained when picking up the car. The phone was also unanswered later. Due to the high fines in London, I chose to pay the congestion charge to avoid any potential fines.
2. When the car had a tire issue, their chosen partner was slow to respond.
Counter staff were rude and unhelpful. Don't accept deposits being paid for by car, force you to pay for additional insurance as a solution and don't give you money back for original insurance that you paid for. Would recommend not hiring a car through them.
