Front desk service was very poor. They tried to give me a car with a broken rearview mirror, then pushed a lower-quality Nissan. There were charges not mentioned by the car rental company, and contacting the rental customer service was difficult and unhelpful.
The experience was okay, they asked if I wanted insurance, saying it would be risky without it. But I already bought insurance from the intermediary website. I guess the information between the two sides wasn't communicated. The intermediary sites probably make money from insurance. I've heard that insurance bought directly from the rental company is more effective and reliable if there's an accident, so next time I won't buy insurance from an intermediary site.
Rented two cars, but when it was our turn at the store, the staff processed one car and then left us saying his shift was over! After unsuccessful negotiations, we had to switch to another staff member. We had reserved the car for 11 AM, but when we went to pick up the second car in the afternoon around 2 PM, it wasn't ready. They said it had just been returned and was being inspected! We had to wait for almost two hours with multiple promises of 'in half an hour' or 'in fifteen minutes.' It was very frustrating! However, the return process was quick.
