Customer service first class, happy to amend booking slightly when asked. Only slight issue was lack of parking to drop if out of hours so not sure if parked ok, otherwise first class

Was renting a Toyota aygo, but being given a Citroen c1 without any expaination.
Car fuel saving is great and we have a safe trip with it!
But there's dent below the car that's not written in the check list as their staff don't check during our pickup but he said everything is fine.
Hope they don't accused the dent on me.

The car model was significantly different from what was booked. I reserved a more expensive Renault Megane Estate but received a much cheaper Hyundai i30. Even though a Megane was parked nearby, they claimed it wasn't available. The delivery person incorrectly informed me it was a diesel car, but it was actually a three-cylinder petrol engine, which vibrates heavily. This misinformation almost caused me to refuel incorrectly. However, the car pickup and return process was very smooth and convenient, and on weekends, they opened 15 minutes early for pick-up.
The car pickup location in Rotterdam is not far from the station. The staff are friendly and their explanations are clear. The drop-off parking lot at the airport was hard to find due to road construction. When we called Europcar for help, they just told us to follow the signs, but the signs were small and confusing. In the end, it took us an hour and we only found it with the help of a police officer.
Counter staff was very good but perhaps you could have a person who can chat with you about the vehicle you are picking up before you pick it up. Plus accessing your drop-off garage through and off the tunnels is a nightmare.
The car rental company provided very poor service. They charged a deposit of 675 euros for the car, and even though I returned the car in perfect condition with no issues during the inspection, they kept my deposit after I returned home. When I contacted the company, they claimed the car was lost and that I was responsible. Absolutely ridiculous! I am flying to the Netherlands next month on business and will take the police to their office to resolve this. I am determined to pursue this matter to the end.
