The Yes Rentals - Queenstown Branch car rental location is located out of the airport

Please contact the staff to pick you up to Yes Rentals - Queenstown Branch car rental when you arrived.

1.Once you have collected your luggage, please call 0064 9217 1001 and let us know that you're ready to be picked up by our shuttle. Usually, the shuttles bus will arrive around 10-15 mins. (Depending on the traffic conditions). 2.Follow the signs for transfers and exit at door D where you will find the shuttle transfer area. The Shuttle Transfer Area is outside the AIR NEW ZEALAND Check-in Area. 3.Please wait in the shuttle transfer area for the White Yes Rental Shuttle van and signal the driver. You will be transferred to our office for vehicle collection. Note: The reception working hour is 08:00 to 18:00. The last free shuttle pick up(from the airport to the branch) or drop off(from the branch to the airport) is 17:30. If you call us to request for shuttle pick up or drop off between 17:30 to 07:59, the 45NZD off-hour services fees per time will be applied. And off-hour service fees are not refundable.

Drop-off Instructions

Address：43 Brookes Road Frankton Queenstown 9300 Make sure you have fueled up your vehicle to the same level as when you picked it up to avoid a refueling service charge (NZD$25). Make sure the vehicle is left in a clean & tidy state - we don't expect it to be fully groomed, but a general clean and tidy will help to avoid an additional charge. After checking the above, simply drop the keys off to the branch staff who will do a 2-minute final handover process and your away! Our Airport Shuttle service does work both ways - simply ask for a lift back to the airport when dropping off your vehicle. Note: The last free shuttle is leaving at 17:30. If you request for shuttle drop off between 17:30 to 07:59, the 45NZD off-hour services fees per time will be applied. And off-hour service fees are not refundable.

I booked Toyota Prius or similar but was offered Toyota Aqua.. which is much smaller & definitely not similar . I mentioned staff, but staff was adamant & said to me that he can give me a refund & nothing else he can do. This was around 9 at night I had no choice but pickup the car which is much smaller than what I booked. Customer service was poor & will not use their services in future. I should be refunded the difference of rental between the two cars

The vehicle was a Toyota yards hybrid. They claim it was a 2013 but it seemed even older than that. Headlight lenses were "fogged over" from age so they weren't very bright at night. The car had numerous scratches & dents.

Overall, the experience was terrible. Avoid this rental company at all costs. We booked in advance and paid, but when we arrived to pick up the car, they said it wasn't ready. They offered to take us to our hotel and promised the car would be delivered in two hours. When it finally arrived, they said there was a missing signature, so I had to go back to sign and pick up the car. When returning the car, they initially said someone would take us to the airport, but when we got there, they said no one was available, and we ended up waiting for at least 20 minutes with an uncertain time frame. In the end, I had to spend 22 dollars on a taxi to the airport. The car condition was far from what was advertised; it was an older car with over 100,000 kilometers and had an unpleasant smell. This was the worst rental experience ever. The front desk was full of complaints, and the manager had a terrible attitude. Avoid this company!
