The nearest location that will accept a one way rental return is the Downtown Marriott, 333 South Figueroa Street, which is approximately 1 mile away. There is not a Hertz location at the amtrak, you will need to use the direct dial phone located right next to the ticketing windows. Call the servicing location to arrange for pickup or delivery of their vehicle. There is a Hertz sign near the phone.

At Union Station, an Indian staff member was rude, leaving me aside while constantly being attentive to other customers, showing clear signs of discrimination. After waiting patiently for over an hour and loudly asking 'why?' did he finally give me the keys. The car was not the one I reserved, and the seats were a bit dirty. It was a bad experience!

The parking and rental locations are very easy to find. I rented the lowest tier Lechi, but it was unavailable later. They upgraded me to a higher tier model. They were really friendly.

We encountered a very rude store service employee who had a terrible attitude. He clearly had cars available but refused to rent one to us, making us wait for an hour until another supervisor-like person came to assist us. During this time, we could hear him mumbling about wanting Thanksgiving off.
