The car is ok. But very disappointed to pay additional 1000 baht for repairing a tyre. When returning the car, the staff found a nail on the inner part of one of the tire. The place normally will not be notice / checked when collecting car. So, I didn't know whether the nail was already there when I collect the car or it is due to my driving. When returning the car, the tire looks perfectly fine, no leaking of air, and I had no problem of driving whole day back to the return. And we have be there talking to the staff, her leader for almost an hour, and the tire had no sign of leaking air at all. So I really doubt if the nail was already there when collecting the car.

The rental system is very rigid and has many pitfalls. No matter when you pick up or return the car, if it's less than a full day, make sure to select 00:00 for pickup and 23:00 for return. Even though I paid for a whole day for just over 7 hours, they still charged me an extra hour. Overall, I ended up paying for 2 days for those 7 hours. The platform's customer service insisted their system is fine, stating that if you return the car early, you won't get any money back, but if you're an hour late, they'll charge you for a whole day. So, be mindful to add a few extra hours when selecting your return time, as you'll be paying for that time anyway.

When we picked up the car, the rental staff gave us a neck pillow, saying it was a gift. However, upon returning the car, they told us it was just for our use! We said that their colleague had mentioned it was a gift, and we had left it in the villa in Pattaya. Then he said his colleague meant it was for our use. What does 'gift' even mean? If it's for our use, just say so, don't say it's a gift! Also, I rented a 12-seater car, so why not give us 12 pillows to use! Clearly, they just want to make us pay extra. The car was old but functional. The reserved child safety seat was damaged and unusable. Additionally, the safety seat was a basic model costing about 100 RMB on Taobao, so its safety is questionable. It seems its main purpose is to avoid fines.
I had reserved a child safety seat, but it was a very basic model costing around 100 RMB on Taobao, which looked unsafe and was actually very dangerous. Moreover, it was broken and couldn't be used as the safety buckle wouldn't close. They had no replacements available, so my child had to be held for three days, which was very unsafe. Secondly, the car was quite old, a Toyota Altis with over 120,000 kilometers. While the exterior paint looked new, the interior was outdated, and the leather seats were dirty and worn, though the cleanliness was acceptable. Overall, I don't recommend Yesaway car rentals, even for flash rentals. They don't seem to take renters' safety seriously, especially with their joke of a safety seat. If you are traveling with a child, I suggest bringing your own simple child safety seat. Using and discarding it afterward would be better than the one provided by the rental company. It seems all of Thailand uses such basic safety seats. Southeast Asia might still be in an era where safety seats are merely to avoid fines and not genuinely for children's safety.

Honestly speaking, be mindful when returning the car as they may try to charge you more. I was charged 3500 THB for a barely noticeable scratch, not even worth repairing. I recommend choosing other brands. It's a rip-off.
