Hiring the car was really easy. The only issue was a really long wait to do the paperwork before car. The counter staff were very helpful but there weren’t enough of them to cope with the numbers waiting to collect. They also spent too long on the hard sell of additional insurance, which did slow things considerably. We already had additional insurance but the staff member still tried to sell us more.

The purchase of the car rental was really easy, the confirmation was emailed promptly and the app was also useful.
All went very smoothly although very disappointed with the amount of time spent at collection desk, this was running at full capacity, just not enough employees to handle the volume of customers.
The delay to pick up was shocking.
I had to wait ages. And missed a dinner date with friends because of it.
There was no apology when I eventually got to speak to the Centauro staff.
Very good overall, but as we booked and paid on line before we went some of the charges weren’t explained properly to us ! You could make it clearer about fuel charges and insurance fees. We booked two cars and wanted to add a driver to one , but the guy we dealt with did not listen and added 3 drivers to on and two on the other ! And charged for the extra driver but it was quicker to just go with it.

The counter staff were pushy for insurance as I had it already the lady was then dismissive and failed to give me clear directions to the cars location. The car was eventually found after a lot of walking around with luggage and children. The car would not open so once I managed to find a helpful agent, they arranged a replacement. The replacement was rather tatty with slight damage on all panels, however it did run well. The return process was easy although the refund took a few days.

Although I’d purchased the upgrade insurance I was slightly perplexed by the woman at the counter who seemed to suggest my insurance wasn’t for full cover. The language barrier was difficult at particular times almost to confuse me more!
A very long wait at collection. A really long queue. We took photos when we got the car, which we were told had no damage but on return they informed us of a mark near the front bumper. Luckily we had taken the photo so we got it all signed off. I do feel that this has now become normal procedure for a lot of companies.

The actual car was lovely and a pleasure to drive. They had a quick pick up system and drop off was in early hours (outside of office hours) so there was a key drop system and no charge for this. My excess fee was automatically returned to me once the office opened. My only issue was a fuel fee, despite having a full to full tank hire agreement. They required deposit of £51 which I was assured would be returned once the car was returned with a full tank....this has not occurred despite me having a receipt (time/date/address) from the petrol station and time stamped photos of the fuel gauge showing a full tank! Currently chasing this up with Centauro!

Great booking platform, by far the cheapest I could find on line! Easy to use however, I have android and could not download the app, so had to print the booking voucher out!
after telling the counter staff I had excess cover and wouldn't be taking the €154 cover they were aggressive, threatening and rude. saying if there was the smallest scratch I would be charged some ridiculous charge. I agreed to the breakdown cover but did ask why I needed breakdown cover and was told I just need it. I will never use them again!
I waited 1 hour and 45 minutes for my car at Alicante airport. It’s a chaotic mess I will never book with this company again and will go out of my way to share what was a terrible experience. By far the worst service I have received anywhere in the world!

Because I didn't take insurance, didn't even tell me where to find the car just got given keys.
Picked up during a storm and the car was missing a wiper! (known damage)

The counter staff took it personally that I declined to take €84 extra smart cover for damage insurance and chose a €1050 deposit instead. She was very rude with me (Mariana Teresita Di Stasio) when the bank declined my first attempt at paying the €1050 deposit. Eventually we were successful but she really pushed for me to pay an extra damage waiver and was unpleasant. Talking about me to her colleagues in Spanish almost as if I was not there.
