“Vienna - St. Wolfgang - Hallstatt - Gosau - Vienna”
About Buchbinder:10.0/10
The service was provided by a nice guy with good English communication skills. Since we picked up the car early, there was no need to queue and the process took less than 10 minutes.
The first lady who gave us the car was not very friendly, with a stern face and a heavy accent in her English. Later, because there were scratches on the back of the car, we went back and met another lady who spoke fluent English and smiled.
The car rental process was convenient, although the car provided was not the Passat we had booked online, but an Opel of the same size. There were a few scratches on the car body, which we pointed out to the staff upon pickup, and she marked them on the rental agreement on the spot. The paperwork was processed very smoothly. In Prague, the staff was extremely enthusiastic and gave a detailed explanation of the rental process and vehicle usage, which was a fantastic experience. Considering this comparison, Prague gets a 5-star rating while Vienna only gets 4 stars. Overall, very satisfied.
Absolutely disgusting car rental company. The day after returning the car (with no issues reported at return), my credit card was inexplicably charged over 1700 euros without any notice. The resolution by ZuZuChe was very weak. I advise against using ZuZuChe for overseas rentals. Instead, go directly to large international car rental companies. ZuZuChe's partners are all small companies that probably make money by scamming customers. ZuZuChe should compensate customers for their losses.
The car was in good condition. After knowing we had QEEQ full insurance, they didn't push any additional insurance. The rental location was convenient. The car inspection during the exchange was not very thorough. The cross-border fee was cheaper than displayed on the website. Overall, it was a pleasant car rental experience.
I had read some not-so-great reviews about this place on Google Maps, so I was a bit worried. But when I went there, there was no queue, and the staff was quite friendly. However, their strong German-accented English made communication slightly challenging. The process of providing an international driving permit, license, credit card, and passport was straightforward. Overall, my experience was very good.
I picked up the car at 8 AM. There weren't many people, and most counters were open. Filled out a few forms and had a $1000 pre-authorization, then took the car and left.
