“Once desk found, easy and straight forward to hire car.”
About Target Rent Italy:7.7/10
Couldn’t find Target Rental desk initially this was because they are also called Liberty and this was the big sign above the desk. Target Rental sign was on a A4 piece of paper on a sign on the desk. It was very busy in the rental terminal so you couldn’t see the sign!
The instructions suggested that the office was in the arrivals area at the airport. It was not! That resulted in a lot of asking around as the rental company was not listed on a big board as operating from a another off airport location. Very frustrating!
The vehicle was in very poor condition, and after picking the car up I was shocked to realise it had done over 205,000 km which in my view is way beyond the useful life of an average car, let alone one a company is renting out (for a 9 day price that would probably go towards buying 50% of the car). The vehicle was so worn it lacked power in lower gears to the point it felt unsafe, and we were concerned there was a very high risk the vehicle could breakdown. We therefore used the vehicle a lot less than we had hoped to on our holiday. Overall this experience has left me thinking I would be highly unlikely to use this company in the future, or recommend it to anyone else.
Qeeq needs to make it clearer that Target Rent at Pisa is not where all the other car hire operators are based and not to follow the signs to car rentals but pay close attention to the directions on the voucher. Target Rent is actually closer to the Terminal exit than where every other operator is based. The directions were otherwise just about adequate once we realise they were not based in the normal, purpose built area for car hire.
“Not trusted rent company! Check your MasterCard and there will unexplainable surprise!”
About Target Rent Italy:9.7/10
It was taken money from my account without any information. Delivery of CAR was everyrhing Ok but some days later I found out that IT has been transaction from MasterCard.
At the desk agent asked for a printed copy of the contract. And not just showing confirmation on my phone.
On returning the car on inspection was told there was new damage which was a small scuff on rear bumper. Which I didnt do. So was told to fill out a disclaimer. For which there would be a charge. So not a happy chappie.
