It's acceptable. There was no Chinese translator on site, making communication difficult for those with limited English. Many places, including banks and hospitals, have this issue. It would be great to have translation devices on site; it's not a complicated thing!

Avis in Los Angeles was the worst car rental experience I've ever had. Avoid if possible. Long wait times and deceptive customer service.

Not great, it claimed there was Chinese service, but there wasn't! The order stated that UnionPay cards were accepted, but it turned out that only Visa cards were. Also, other drivers' credit cards were not allowed, so we couldn't pick up the car. We had to rent another car, which cost over 400 yuan extra! I won't be renting from them again.

Customer service was very efficient and exceptionally friendly, making me feel very welcomed in a foreign country.

Too many people picking up cars and the staff were inefficient, waited for two hours which was really frustrating. Returning the car was very easy, a small scratch on the car didn't cause any issues. The car was in great condition and very new. Overall, very satisfied.
