Horrible experience with AVIS rental company! They said the car I reserved was not available, and after switching vehicles, they had me sign a new contract, falsely claiming no additional charges would apply. Upon return, they said the contract included insurance and charged me 1781.88 Euros. I had already purchased comprehensive insurance in my home country and should not have to buy such expensive insurance again. This is blatant fraud! The rental company should help protect innocent consumers like us and support our complaints!

The car model we booked was not available at all. When we showed the contract to the staff, they didn't care and said that the model in the contract was unavailable. We had to either accept the available model or not rent at all. Since it was midnight, could we really not rent? We ended up reluctantly accepting a smaller model.
