Instead of opel corsa we received a bigger car for the same price.One of MG SUV. But only thing that engine was very unpoverfull and slow(probably restricted by car rental company) Was very uncomfortable on the road and some times dangerous.Not suitable for Sardinias up and down roads.
I think the staff pushed insurance too much, and there is a ten-minute walk between the store and the parking lot for picking up the car. I booked the car for 7:30. I arrived at the store about half an hour early. After the staff explained the insurance, I said I didn’t need it. Then they refused to process my paperwork, telling me to come back at 7:30. If I wanted it processed earlier, I had to pay an extra 50 euros. This was very frustrating.
They required additional insurance, provided a different model than requested, and the car had severe scratches. It's easy to get scammed if you're not careful.
When I returned the car I did not receive any receipt that the car was in good order (no damages and full gasoline)! I think it would be reassuring to receive it!
Extra charge for not having a credit card, when travelling all my holiday money is transfered onto a mastercard travel card.
