I drove and had a minor collision, and they demanded 2000 RMB in compensation, including charges for an air kit and three days of lost work. I don't understand why a paint job takes three days.
We don't speak Chinese so we didn't really talk but he took us through a very simple process and we got the car quickly!
The only problem was on the return we could not find our way to the ally that takes the car back to where we picked it up. Traffic was terrible so each failed attempt took several minutes to try again. But the agent took the car where we managed to leave it even if not at the shop.

Notably, the absence of forceful upselling for additional services, such as insurance, was appreciated. I am confident in saying that I look forward to future rentals with PONY based on this positive encounter. We were so satisfied with the car conditions and given that it has travelled with us for 19 days, we decided to give it a car wash at the end as our token of appreciation.

Taiwanese services are generally very good. My only complaint is that JT Car Rental suddenly didn't have the model we reserved and outsourced us to another rental company at the last minute. I feel like if this is the case, there is no point in booking through QEEQ. I could have found a local car rental company myself in Taiwan, possibly at a cheaper price.
Like: Ww collected the car in Taipei. It was not at low mileage but in peefect conditions anyway. No issues to drive on the mountains. Staff was friendly and made some effort to communicate in English Dislike: Automatic gear sometimes did not play well in steep climbs. Requested but not get the navigator.

Waited a very long time to get the car. Was not given the option of picking up car at where the car was parked, wasted a lot of time coordinating the pickup.
The customer service staff were very polite and provided detailed explanations. From the start of the booking, they sent guidance and location details through a chat tool, which was very convenient. Returning the car was simple—you just drive to the airport parking lot and provide the parking spot number. However, the vehicle was old, dirty, had multiple exterior scratches, and the interior was also unclean. The dashboard had a persistent yellow tire pressure warning light. The tires weren't even from the same brand, which felt unreliable. I rented a Toyota Sienta, but received an outdated second-generation model that differed from the website photos, so be cautious. The infant car seat was completely unacceptable—hard, with no soft parts, lacking ISOFIX, and secured with a seatbelt. It was very uncomfortable and seemed unsafe. I strongly recommend avoiding this and bringing your own car seat.
