All vehicles driving on Swiss highways must purchase a special tax sticker (Swiss Hwy. Sticker). The cost is 40.00 SFR and is available for purchase at the border crossings. The customer is subject to a fine of 100.00 SFR if caught without the sticker.

An additional charge of 35.00 EUR per rental will apply. The BLUE STAMP must be put on the front window of the vehicle and can be bought at the entry to Slovenia, in tobacco shops, gas stations and newspaper stands. In case of no stamp in the window fines range between 300.00 EUR to 800.00 EUR.
