An unsealed road refers to a constructed or formed road that is not sealed with a hard material, such as tar, bitumen or concrete. Rental cars can only be driven on sealed/bitumen or well maintained roads.Vehicles are not to be taken above the snow line unless Snow Cover has been purchased.Excluded from the protection is driving on beaches or through streams, dams, rivers or flood water. Requested a Mitsubishi ASX specific for its' size but got upgraded to an 7 seater Outlander 4WD. i normally love upgrades but not in this case. The car was too big for the narrow roads we intended to drive and most likely used more fuel than what the ASX would have done.
