The Windycar - Ataturk Airport car rental location is in terminal

Once claimming your baggage. Please proceed to the Rent a Car area located at Domestic Terminal arrival floor, near Exit 8 and 9, where you can find all the rental compaines' offices. After that, please go to the Otopark to collect your vehicle.

Drop-off Instructions

Please set your GPS to "Terminal Caddesi". Once you reach the airport area, please pay attention to the huge "Rent a Car Drop Point" sign. Follow the signs to the return parking.

The rental company staff did not speak English. Luckily, I had a Turkish friend who helped communicate in Turkish, so we managed to return the car without any problems. Otherwise, I don't know what trouble we would have faced.

Two months after renting the car, additional charges were made, claiming a traffic violation in a city I've never been to. Multiple appeals were ignored. I strongly suspect either a mistake or a scam by the rental company.
