Worst customer service ever
Tried to extend twice(the night of being late and the next morning)
Dropped of the car and it was an extra $200!!!
Tried to use my debit card for the extension and they wouldn’t do it while I was the location in denver like customer serevixe said I could.
On top of all that, I picked up the car and drove into bad snow weather and had to purchase windshield fluid and pull over every 5 miles to clear my windows so I could see!

Vehicle was extremely dirty inside and out. Also, for pre-paid fuel option, would give customer's to refuel in case they did not use as much as gas as they thought they would. Everything else was great, thank you.

Car was filthy. Inside was ok. Outside looked like someone went mud running in it and hadn't washed it for months. Counter rep was very nice. Had to wait a while in line. Must have been a peak time.

First of all, there was not much of a line and there were several people working desks. It took us nearly an hour to get our car. It was the slowest process I have ever experienced to rent a car. Then I had requested a 4 wheel drive or equivalent auto, it was not a 4 wheel or equivalent and we were going into the mountains to Steamboat in a blizzard. What was requested was not fulfilled. I would not rent a car from Fox again.

The car wasn't cleaned prior to our rental and it was a filth ball. We didn't find out until well on our way to the ski slopes that the rig wasn't 4x4 wheel drive. My bad for not specifying, but who makes a 2-wheel drive full-sized SUV? It defeats the purpose of an SUV. We had to purchase chains for the vehicle to comply with the Colorado Traction Law. Miscellaneous charges of more than $100 showed up on our receipt that were later removed after we called to inquire. The answer was something about computer errors. Highly suspect. Not happy !!

Horrible customer service. It took over 1hr and half to get the rental, a lot of hidden fees that they only give you at the counter. Charge separately for individual insurance policies which they tell you a different thing before you call. The airport pick up location is horrible. Overall would not use this company again.

Counter staff was absolutely dreadful, I got charged $23 and change from the deposit for...I have no idea what, I didn't want to stand in line for an hour to find out...would not use Fox again. Also, you have to pay for your spouse to drive, so Fox is not as inexpensive as you initially think.

I found a car last minute with Fox through Easyrentcars.com that was half the price of the other options.
THE GOOD:
-Price was right.
-Staff were easy to work with and friendly.
-They didn't have the car I had reserved, but they gave me an upgrade.
THE NOT SO GOOD:
-My car smelled strongly of smoke. If I was in a smoking car, I would have liked to have known that before.
-The check-in process could have been clearer. I waited 10 min behind people getting cars, before someone announced all I needed was to drop the keys with the front desk. It would be nice to have a car dropoff agent.

Requested a Camry, however none were available. Was given a kia sportage with lots of body damage (dings, scrapes, and scuffs), the low tire pressure light was on the entire time and we had to add air, and the gas mileage was lower than what a camry would have been. Even though we had a voucher from online rental, the cost doubled when we picked up rental. Will not use Fox services again.

The car was okay. What I didn’t like was that they tried to sell me a toll package that I didn’t need. They said I would based on where I was traveling but I never crossed one toll. That is flat out lying in order to sell more and I don’t appreciate that sort of practice at all!

I have rented a few times with Fox. They always have a nice shuttle driver and the shuttle is always a short wait. I expect a line when I arrive because of the bargain pricing. I am prepared when I get in line with a credit card that accepts the normal sales tax, airport tax, extra driver fees, and the authorization hold charges. Be smart read the fine print and be ready with the right card and bring your insurance paperwork. I had no pressure for add ons ever. The cars were great. I always fill it up before drop off because I know every rental will charge 7$ a gallon if I dont. Get smart and Auto rental at Fox or anywhere will be fine.

I was told to fill out the vehicle inspection form myself and hand it in at exit, but there was noone to hand it to. The windshield had a small chip, that i marked on the sheet. While driving the car it turned into a larger crack. I want to make sure i am not charged for this, but haven't heard anything yet.

I waited over an hour for a customer service agent. This has never happened in my life at a car rental agency. Once I got to customer service it was very fast, the agent was very courteous, professional, and efficient. He was one of 4-5 other agents, but the other agents seemed to take much longer. This appeared to be part of the extreme wait time. I also did not get the car I wanted. I reserved a 4-door sedan, but got an SUV. I was so tired and hot (it was 90 degrees in Denver) from waiting that I didn't even ask for a different car, I just wanted to get out and leave. Drop off was much faster, but I noticed that the line for others to get their cars in the morning, was just as long as it was for me in the afternoon when picking up the car. The shuttle to the airport was ready and waiting.

Make a easy drop off sign or box. Many of us were waiting in line for drop off until after many minutes, someone said drop the keys off and go...so making that a more smooth operation would be helpful. Also, I think the car I was driving needs a wheel alignment.

The Fox had confusing signs directing you to return the car in the wrong location. Once it was determined where to return the car, there was no employees directing you on where rot park or leave the car. We had to wait for an employee to give direct us and complete the transaction.

First car they gave me had a tire going flat. Car was not clean and dinged up. Took pictures as I was totally nervous I would get charged for it. No air on shuttle, shuttle was slow in arriving, service was slow. I will not book with them again.

They refused to give us the rental car we had chosen and then were very aggressive when we insisted that they give us the midsize SUV we rented instead of a compact car. Horrible service at the counter despite telling them that I needed to get on the road to rush to a family medical emergency. I will never rent with them again.

Picking up the car from Fox wasn't hard, there's a shuttle from the airport. Our car had a lot of dings & scratches, but that's not a big deal, it worked just fine. HOWEVER, returning the car was infuriating. They are not located near the other rental car drop-offs, so following signs at the airport for "Rental Car Return" is an exercise in futility (it would have been nice for the staff at Fox to let us know returning the car wasn't sign-posted). We finally found them with out GPS, and while they advertise being open 24 hours, that's only sort of true. We arrived and it took 20 minutes to find a staff person. I finally found someone we could check the car back in with and had to tell other poor customers wandering aimlessly where he was. The car return experience was frustrating.

The worst service I have experienced in any rent a car company. 2 hour waiting line.... , only 3 people attending while 100 people in line..... once in the counter, the assistant told us that they were sold out for the car I rent an month ago.. and sorry.... the alternative that they gave me was smaller that the one I was supposed to have and also it was dirty... and if we want to wait again an hour they can clean it... or we just take it as it is.... never again with this company!!!!

I asked for a safer car considering the snow, I was given a beat up old and dirty jeep for 76$ extra. The car barely fit my luggage - but considering I was at FOX rental for 2.5 hours, I was ready to go. I feared it would have taken another 2.5 hours to change. Not worth the prices, I do not recommend.

There were only 2 people working the counter when I arrived. I waited in line for 15 min before it was my turn even though I was first in line. It took another 20 min for the person to try to upsell me to a larger vehicle, 4-wheel drive, GPS, insurance, etc. Then I had to wait another 30 minutes for my car to be ready. It apparently was the only mid-size car they have and instead of just upgrading me for free, I had to wait 30 min for them to wash, vacuum, and fill up the only Camry in their fleet. And they weren't exactly in a hurry.

The first car they gave me was not cleaned both inside and out and had a loud humming noise in the back rear tire. I went back to Fox the next day to get a different car which was cleaned. I wan not given a credit for the first day. I also returned the car a day earlier and they did not give me a credit for an early return but charged me $20.

Make sure you have your insurance covered before you get to the counter and then make sure you decline everything Fox offers you. They give you the hard sell and it will be very expensive.
