In Italy, there are no hidden charges, but in Geneva, there are hidden charges. They require additional insurance for cross-border travel, costing 11 Swiss francs per day. Avis policies vary by location.
They pushed additional sales, the staff's English was not good and they were discriminatory towards customers. They couldn't accept UnionPay cards, downgraded my vehicle, and maliciously charged me without any explanation even 20 days later. AVIS in Switzerland is extremely bad. Do not choose this company. This is the worst car rental experience I have had in years of renting cars abroad.
Dislike: full insurance and child seat was too expensive.
