When signing the contract at the airport office, maybe due to communication issues, I couldn't determine the total rental price from the staff or the contract on the handheld display. So I couldn't tell if any additional charges were included.

When picking up the car, I was charged an extra 40+ AUD as an airport parking fee. Communicated with the rental company, but the issue was not resolved.

We were given an upgrade and the staff could not have been better. There was quite long queue but the staff soon dealt with it. We were asked if we minded waiting a few minutes extra while they finished valeting the upgrade and we were kept updated thro out. Excellent service overall. Will use Europcar again without hesitation .
