While parking on the roadside, I damaged a tire. BUDGET charged my credit card twice, totaling over 6000 RMB. In Australia, replacing a tire costs less than 1000 RMB. Not sure how they determine their pricing, it's unreasonable.
The rental point is directly opposite the exit of Hobart Airport, making Budge very convenient. The process was smooth and quick; they just asked if we needed insurance. Returning the car was hassle-free with no inspection needed at Launceston Airport. Simply hand over the keys at the counter, confirm the fuel level, and report any incidents.
The staff were super nice and very patient. When picking up the car, they upgraded me from an X-Trail to a Pathfinder. The car was very new. When returning the car, it only took 5 seconds for them to glance at it and ask if the tank was full. They didn't inspect it thoroughly at all.
