You can arrive of AVIS - Stockholm Airport car rental by free shuttle bus.

You need to go to Terminal 4 and find the shuttle bus pick-up point. Once there, look for stops 2, 3, or 4. At the stops, you'll find a yellow shuttle bus with the P2 BETA PARKING sign. Take this shuttle to the store to pick up your car. The shuttle runs every 15 minutes.

The car seatbelts were missing the button that stops the buckle getting lost. The wipers left water on the windscreen and the screen wash left greasy smears on the window making driving at night were difficult.

Due to language barriers, I initially thought I received a free upgrade to an automatic car. I didn't check the receipt carefully and later found out at the hotel that the charges were much higher than my booking. I went back to dispute it and finally got my money back! Seems I need to be more cautious in the future; foreigners can have their little tricks too!

After flying for 20 hours, I still had to wait 2 hours at the Avis store in Arlanda Airport before getting the car. The waiting time was too long. However, the customer service upgraded the car, which was nice.
