Q1.What is an insurance excess?
The excess is the amount you'll only be liable for in case of damage(under Collision Damage Waiver) or theft(under Theft Protection) of the vehicle.
Information about the excess will be clearly stated in the price inclusion when you reserve a car on QEEQ.
Q2. How can I add an addtional driver?
You are advised to make a request upon your arrival at the rental counter. Additional charge per day will incur unless '1 Additional Driver Included' is stipulated on the rental.
Please note that the same licence and age requirement applys to the additonal driver. The addtional driver is supposed to present the required licence document along with the main driver at pickup.
Q3.What if I want to pick up or drop off my rental car out of office hours?
QEEQ will show you the car offers available at your chosen time on the search results.
However, pick-up or drop-off out of general opening hours may subject to an extra fee unless self-service pick-up or drop-off is available.
After you reserve a car on QEEQ, we will inform you of specific policy of the car hire company by email.
Q4. Can I take the hired car to another country or cross border?
If you want to pick up your car in one country and drop it in another, your search results will show you cars you can do that with.
If you're planning to cross any borders during your trip, bear in mind:
1. You may have to pay more.
There are often extra fees, taxes or additional cover you'll pay at the car hire counter.
2.It may not be allowed.
Depending on where you're hiring, you may not be able to take your car to another country.
Please email us if you want to take your hire car into a different country during your trip, and we'll talk you through your options.
Q5. Can I pick up my car at one location and return it at different location?
Yes. You can pick up the vehicle in one place and drop it off in another. An ‘one-way fee’ will incur. Whether it is inclued in the rental price or what additional cost may arise will be clearly stated at the time of booking on QEEQ.
Please inform the car hire company of your drop-off location when you pick up the vehicle or contact them directly during your trip. You will find a phone number on the rental agreement you signed at pickup.

When we started the car pickup process, a female staff member was very pushy about selling insurance. We mentioned that we had already purchased full coverage insurance online, but she insisted on seeing the English version of the policy. After struggling to find it, we could only show her the Chinese version and explained in detail for about 20 minutes. The lady reluctantly completed the car rental procedure. Because of this forced upselling, we were unable to thoroughly check the vehicle's condition. Fortunately, we recorded a video of the car's surroundings. Our schedule was also affected that day, so we only managed to drive to a distant location, Rainbow Mountain. The roads were mostly mountainous. We had an early flight the next day, so we aimed to return the car before the store closed at 7 PM. The same female staff member was there, and she was unhappy to see the car was dirty, claiming she couldn't tell if there were any scratches. We had to wash the car's exterior temporarily. She then meticulously checked for any small scratches inside the car, which frustrated us. Such detailed inspection was not done when we picked up the car. We had to repeatedly compare the earlier videos we took with her. Luckily, we managed to show her the small scratches she pointed out using the video (some shown in the picture). Therefore, we remind everyone to record a video or take detailed photos before renting a car to avoid any issues. The last picture is for sharing. Thank you!

The staff delivered the car to the airport, picked us up, and took us to the car rental company in the old town to complete the paperwork. We rented a sedan but got a small SUV that had only driven 11,000 kilometers, basically a new car. We drove it for over 600 kilometers and added 155 soles worth of gasoline. The return process was simple, and the pre-authorization was canceled on the spot. Definitely worth a thumbs up.

Al llegar al mostrador el costo de la reserva se iba al doble por los seguros obligatorios. El espacio en la cajuela es reducido o nulo porque trae el tanque de Gas, entonces me dio miedo poner equipaje, El auto estaba un tanto sucio por la lluvia, Para la devolución era una puerta antes de lo especificado en el mapa que entregan. Lors du retour, l’employé de Hertz Était seul et nous a informé qu’il fallait patienter 30 minutes avant qu’il inspecte notre véhicule. Lui indiquant que nous avions un avion à prendre et que nous devions récupérer notre caution de $3000, il nous a simplement dit de laisser les clefs dans la voiture … Très peu rassurant, et pas professionnel.

La Sra. que atendía, llamada Gilda Santibáñez, local en San Isidro de Lima Perú, me cobró 100 usd por una llanta que dice yo haber malogrado. El auto estaba en pésimas condiciones por fuera. Las yantas eran muy malas y me hizo pagar a mí por eso. Nunca toque el auto con nada, y se formó algo en la llanta trasera derecha por el andar que me dijo que había que cambiarla. Nuevamente, yo estoy seguro que no lo dañe. Si se daño es por la mala calidad de las llantas que eran de marca no conocida. Nisiquiera pise un pozo. La verdad más allá de la plata que me estafaron, podría haber peligrado mí vida ya que anduve en ruta, por eso lo alquile. La Sra. callada sin responderme me cobró eso. Nunca más contrataría este servicio la verdad. Estoy armando para esta semana una critica pesima con mis seguidores en redes sociales y en reseñas en internet a menos que me den una devolución o respuesta y verdadero motivo de la estafa que sufrí y el mal servicio recibido.

Tuve un accidente con el coche use el seguro de la tarjeta, se demoraron demasiado para entregar la información del seguro ocasionándole gastos financieros estarás, asimismo el costo de lucro cesante me pareció excesivo por una reparación que no duraría solo unos cuantos días me cobraron el equivalente a tener alquilado el auto por más de dos meses. La verdad no quise reclamar pues salimos con bien en mi familia, pero se hubiese acercado un ejecutivo a explicarnos el porque del sobre precio.

The service was a complete mess. Initially, they said they only accepted international driving licenses. I told them I only had a Chinese license and provided a translated version. Then they said the translation didn't meet their company's format (this is true, I admit). They weren't interested in solving the problem and just didn't want to rent me a car. Since my payment had already been made on the platform, they neither provided me with a car nor refunded my money! Luckily, I only rented it for a day this time. Too shady!

Thanks to ask about my comments, first even if I send all the info concerning my flight arrival, I stay at least 90 min waiting to pick-up from your people (and I pay for this service because it was not on your office hour) and the worst pat I was rented two vehicle to another rented company (because we are 8 persons) and the other company with the same information was pick-up my friends on time. During our trip after a 5 days we heard weir noise from the break system on one of our two SUV we rented, we advice your Lima office and they tell us to drive safely until we bring back the SUV, but we use drive the car through many road mountains in downhill all the passengers was afraid all the time that the break released. We fell our security was their priority and even if we advise them no one check our vehicle or either exchange our defective SUV on your other facilities (ex: Arequipa, Cuzco). When we are back to the airport to pick an another rented vehicle (Hyundai H1) they been aware that we are 8 persons with our luggage they come to pick-up with one vehicle …..they need to make two trip.

Alamo has brilliant service. There was only one problem: Toyota Yaris we had rented had too low power engine for Peru where a lot of mountain roads. After couple of days we understood the clutch was close to be broaken. Alamo organized the car service for us and the clutch was changed. Also Alamo agreed do not take any fee for dropping the car to another location. Stuff was in contact with me permanently via Whatsapp.
