AVIS pick up location in Riga stated as "riga downtown" with no address given on the reminder emails. In one confirmation email, the address given is AVIS headquarters, which is not the pick up location. Given the pick up location is at the airport, it would be simpler to call the location "Riga RIX Airport".

At the end of the booking they tried to scam us £10 for "cleaning fee" when the car was indeed returned clean! I have pictures to prove this.

And then said ok for now only 10e’ So I had to pay extra. Who has time to vacuum and wash the car before returning? Also when we dropped car off the agent said ‘no shuttle- walk’. But when we were almost to the airport we saw a shuttle.

Réponse du professionnel : un numéro de téléphone à appeler en cas de crevaison. Accueil sinon parfait, très professionnel et efficace. Le professionnel n'a pas cherché à nous vendre d'options quelconques, assurances ou GPS, inutiles pour non. Retour du véhicule sur un autre parking facile à trouver, près de l"aéroport. Pas de contrôle contradictoire à la remise des clés au gardien du parking, il n'y a pas sur place de représentant d'auto 26. Véhicule rendu avec le plein comme prévu. Une navette gratuite, du parking, nous a ramené très rapidement (3 mn) à l'aéroport.

They don’t answer they phone at 4am and no shuttle to airport! There is fee for drop off , there is fee if you go out of Latvia border, there is fee 15€ for not vacuumed mats! Never again in my life I will rent from them
If you rent out a car you should allowed minor damages. Don't use it! They scam you for money, making up stories. No one there early morning to inspect the vehicle, but then they sent you video of damages. I didn't drive this car most of my trip, it was parked. I traveled a lot and it was first time when they sent me a bill for minor damages like windshield chip and scratch on the bumper that was not there when i dropped it off. My mistake I didn't take the video. I would give them 1 Star! Very disappointing!

Automatic transmission, which was a pleasant surprise. They didn't have wifi availible that day but they gave me a map with good instructions. Very pleasant experience.

The car was what we paid for. Riga staff offered an upgrade but we declined. Service staff at Riga were top notch. Service staff at Tallinn also were very good. At the time we were in Tallinn the staff were busy with a number of customers but did their best to answer questions.

Returning the car was also easy; just park the car in the P3 parking lot and then return the keys and documents to the counter. You pick up the car from P3 as well!

The location is easy to find, and there weren't many customers. Upon reaching the store, we called the number on the door, and a staff member arrived within five minutes. The car rental process was very simple and took less than 10 minutes. After that, a shuttle took us to the parking lot. After getting the car, we carefully checked it inside and out for any scratches or dents to avoid getting charged unfairly like we did in Poland.
We had scheduled a return time, but due to delays on the road, we arrived an hour and a half late. Surprisingly, the shuttle was already waiting for us at the parking lot. We handed the car keys directly to the shuttle driver, who then took us to the airport.
The final billing was also very simple. The extra driver fee and cross-border fee were deducted from the pre-authorization, and the credit card pre-authorization was lifted three days later.

Q2. How can I add an addtional driver?
You are advised to make a request upon your arrival at the rental counter. Additional charge per day will incur unless '1 Additional Driver Included' is stipulated on the rental. Please note that the same licence and age requirement applys to the additonal driver. The addtional driver is supposed to present the required licence document along with the main driver at pickup.
Q3.What if I want to pick up or drop off my rental car out of office hours?
