Rather dodgy sales pitch on the extra insurance but unfortunately this is normal in a lot of places. They were quick to help with a tyre pressure light on the car and were friendly, especially on drop-off. Another thing I didn't like was that you have to pay the deposit and everything else on the same credit card - resulting in unnecesssary fees for the customer. Additionally, I was asked to clean the car before drop-off - this is for the purposes of inspecting for damages on return, so don't worry about paying for and spending time on a full wash. Overall it was a good car and decent experience.

There was an issue with the car during the trip. As we didn't have a phone to contact Klass Wagen, the police stopped and helped us out as the car wouldn't start. They used their police car to charge our battery on the side of the motorway, it took an hour but then all was good. Afterwards everything was fine for the rest of the trip.

This is the worst car rental company I have encountered in my many years abroad. It exists solely to scam customers. The cars provided are all covered in dents and scratches. They kept pushing insurance when I picked up the car, and their attitude was extremely poor when I refused. When returning the car, they used a magnifying glass to inspect it, scraping every corner to find a reason to charge me over 200 euros. Multiple negotiations with the bank and rental platform yielded no results. It's terrible; avoid this company.

The staff attitude was quite good. However, the car is definitely not what I reserved. I was given a locally made Dacia, which had a poor chassis and felt unstable while driving. The tires were underinflated, and the tire pressure light stayed on throughout the journey. The Ford Focus I booked would have been much better.

For some reason, the staff at the counter said my translation document was not acceptable, which almost disrupted my trip. Thankfully, the rental company was very helpful and sorted it out with a phone call in twenty minutes. If it had taken ten minutes longer, I would have had to take a taxi to my destination 80 kilometers away, costing 600 lei, which is almost 1000 RMB.

We had to wait almost two hours at the airport before the rental company came to pick us up, thanks to QEEQ for helping us contact them; before returning the car, we encountered an issue with the fuel gauge. The second last day, we filled up the tank (the pump automatically stopped), and after driving only around 20km the next day, one bar (out of 8) on the fuel gauge dropped. On the day we picked up the car, we drove at least 50km. Before returning the car, we decided to add 50 RMB worth of fuel to top it up, but it kept requiring more fuel. We added 50 RMB worth of fuel five times, and fuel was overflowing from the tank, but the gauge still showed only 7 bars (it requires full tank when picking up and returning the car). When we arrived at the rental office, it still showed 7 bars. After handing over the keys, the staff started the car, and the fuel gauge suddenly showed full. This was very suspicious, and when we pointed it out, the staff hurriedly drove the car away. We strongly suspect some tampering had occurred.

AVIS in Bucharest is well organized, staff speak good english and they are helpful. Collect your paper from the counter and then a shuttle will take you at the parking.

AVIS in Bucharest is well organized. Follow the signs for Rentals, you need to go down two levels, and there is the counter. Staff is helpful. Park is a bit out of the airport but there is a shuttle service called once you have your paperwork.

Hard to find the tiny Avis sign to drop-off the car. Gps wasnt helpfull at that situation at all. The service guy tried hard to find damage on car and inside the car, luckyli i took detaild photos and videos and prooved every little scrach and dent that they were perior my pickup. Dont forget to record!

The rental company doesn't recognize Chinese driver's licenses and forces you to buy additional insurance to pick up the car. They charged a 100 Euro cleaning fee when returning the car. I suggest not renting from this company.

Hertz rentals car parking the most far parking from the airport building. I ordered Skoda Octavia, but they give me Skoda Rapid and tried to prove that the cars are in the same category. I took the Rapid, because, finally, there are was no additional cars on the parking. The parking is very small.

I didnt make insurance but they blocked 960€ from my credit card.AFAIK this cars already insuranced or casco.So they are threating us or paying the what they want for insurance, or take unfair winned money.

The counter staff try to cheat us about car insurance, I paid for super protection package, they told us that package doesn't mean anything, you must pay 25€ per day for real insurance etc. While dropping the car back they wanted to charge us about a scratch that already exist on the rear right door. We got the pictures of car in the pick up, so nothing happened (I guess). The counter staff said that the deposit (900€) will be paid back a month later but I'm not sure they're keeping their words.

The local agent pressed me to purchase local insurance for 25 Eur per day!!! and told me that my full risk insurance from AXA is bad. If I did not agree he was unpolite. I must check the car very good and make pictures by phone to avoid any problem at the return. During the return, they tried to blame me that the damage to the bumper was not so great. If I showed to him the picture he decided that I am right.

Very dissatisfied, would not recommend 1. Agreed to pick up the car at 9 AM. Called the rental company multiple times but no one answered. Finally picked up the car at 11 AM with no apology from staff. 2. Agreed to return the car at 6 PM (actually 6, 7, or even 10 PM would not have been an issue). Due to the late pick-up on the first day, our whole schedule was disrupted. We returned the car at 9 PM, and the company imposed a 74 euro fine per car for late return. During the dispute, they meticulously inspected the car for any issues that were apparently not present during pick-up, demanding fines. 3. A small stone chip (less than a centimeter) on the windshield led to a 1000-euro damage claim, without any negotiation. Their attitude was particularly harsh, likely due to the return time dispute. Previously rented from Sixt and the difference in service was huge. This company had no apology for their mistakes and strictly adhered to contractual terms when the customer had an issue. During disputes, they looked for any minor damages with flashlights and magnifying glasses. Clearly, their inspection during pick-up is not as thorough, and this tactic is intentionally distressing.

Lorsque nous avons récupéré le véhicule le personnel a été très désagréable Mon contrat de location n avait pas été reçu Donc mon véhicule n etait pas disponible Nous avons récupéré un véhicule abîmé sans climatisation et sans essence ! On m a fait signer un contrat sur lequel aucun dégât sur véhicule apparaissait et ma signature avait déjà été reporte sur la restitution... On me donne un véhicule mouillé sur lequel on ne voit pas ou il est abîmé Lors de la restitution on m incombe un dégât qui n est pas de ma faute et on me débite la caution de 2200€ !!! When I arrived in the agency I had since the beginnin a bad reception, the agent didn't even say good morning or reply my "hi", he simply asked: "drivers license, id and credit card." I provided all the required document then he asked me how much it was the deposit to pick up the car, I thought this was his job, right? In the voucher was saying between 500 and 3.000US Dollars, So he decided out of nowhere choose the amount of 2500EUR. Already telling me: "you don't have limit in this card right?" Seriously? Why would I plan a trip, book a hotel, get a taxi, cross the whole city to pick up the car if I didn't have limit on my credit card? So he didn't show me how he inserted the amount on the card machine, only asked me to enter the PIN. Then it said no authorized. The agent then turn his back and left me there alone, not willing to help or sort the issue out. I called the bank then, put the speaker on and with the bank agent asked the guys from the rental place to try once again(2nd time) but again he hid the machine and only asked me later on to put the pin and again not authorized asked the bank agent who I kept on the line if there was any transaction or ate least an attempt of it in their system. The answer was loud and clear(NO, on the bank end no transaction was showing up.). So instead try to use another machine, request another credit card or even turn it off and on he just said he wouldn't try again because HIS MACHINE would be blocked, machines does not get blocked because credit card insufficient found or anything like that. He told me then:"Rent the car in another company" Then curiously when I left his cabin there was a colleague of his from another agency offering me another car to rent! Now I need to keep my eyes close to my credit card account to make sure he won't use to charge me or buy something else later on because I already lose money with the booked hotel, the transportation to the car rent pl
